Google has unveiled a series of AI-powered features set to enhance its suite of productivity applications, such as Gmail, Docs, Meet, and more. These updates were announced during the Google Cloud Next event held in Las Vegas, marking a significant advancement in AI integration within Google's offerings.

One notable addition is the "Translate for me" feature in Google Meet, scheduled to roll out in June. This feature will automatically detect and translate captions into the user's preferred language, expanding support to 52 new languages and bringing the total supported languages to 69.

Google Sheets is receiving a new tables feature designed to streamline data organization with a revamped design. Users can choose from a selection of templates covering various needs like project management, event planning, and inventory management, eliminating the need to create spreadsheets from scratch.

In Google Docs, a new tabs experience will enable users to better organize related information within a single document. Additionally, users will have the option to personalize documents with full-bleed cover images extending from one edge of the browser to the other.

Enhancements are also coming to Gmail, with the introduction of voice prompting for the AI-powered "Help me Write" feature. This update allows users to compose emails using their voice directly from the Gmail app. Furthermore, a new feature called "instant polish" will enable users to effortlessly convert notes into complete email drafts with a single click, without even needing a text prompt.

These new features will initially be available to Gemini Enterprise and Gemini Business customers, as well as Google One AI premium subscribers. The rollout of these updates is expected to occur in the coming weeks, promising improved productivity and efficiency for users across Google's ecosystem of productivity tools.
